From TMPL MNTN to Caracara

TMPL MNTN was the original impulse, to honor the mountain as alive, and to relate to it as a living temple. As the founding members stepped in as pillars, the vision expanded beyond its origin and was shaped through real decisions on the land.

Caracara is the result:
A more complete expression, held collectively and built with intention.

The Name

A symbol of heaven on earth
The land sent a falcon to reveal its name: the Caracara, both a raptor and scavenger, a bird of land and sky, the shamanic bridge between spirit and matter.

  • In Malay, it means “ways”: weaving the modern with the ancestral earth wisdom to forge a better way.
  • In Sanskrit, Carācara is the union of the moving and the still: all of creation.
  • In Spanish, the call to direct connection: face to face.
  • In Italian, a term of endearment

Beyond definition,
It’s something we embody.
